About the course
As chiropractic health care continues to grow in both recognition and inclusion, professional training is a necessity for those assisting the Doctor of Chiropractic, the Chiropractic Assistant (CA). Designed to set the standard for professionalizing the career of the CA, this program distinguishes itself by its high clinical and technical focus.
What will you learn
This program prepares students with the clinical skills needed to assist chiropractic physicians in a variety of settings. Training covers patient evaluations, therapies, medical histories, education to improve care and compliance, and oversight of clinical staff. It fulfills the Florida state requirements for CCPA licensure and is perfect for those looking to start a meaningful career in chiropractic care.
How you will learn
Zoom - Synchronous Online Learning:
Most classes are live, synchronous Zoom sessions, allowing real-time interaction with instructors and peers. You’ll engage in discussions, complete workbooks, and apply course concepts through assignments. Regular testing will track your progress.
In-Person Learning:
A few classes are held in person for hands-on experience and practical assessments. The required State Board Licensing Exam will also be in-person, ensuring you’re prepared for licensure. (See schedule below for in-person classes)
Requirements
Before enrolling, make sure you have the following:
- Proficiency in English – All instruction, course materials, and the CCPA State Board Licensing Exam are provided in English. To participate successfully, you must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Reliable internet connection (broadband recommended)
- Laptop or desktop computer with webcam and microphone
- Mobile devices are not permitted in this course!
- Zoom Account & App – Free basic account is acceptable
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Using a web browser
- Opening and editing PDFs
- Using a document scanner or scanning app
