Frequently asked questions
In order to be eligible to apply for your CCPA license, you will need to complete all 208 hours and all 13 classes in the program. However, if you should need to miss a class or a portion of a class, you will be able to make up that class (or portion of the class) with the next location to have that class.
- For example, let’s say you need to miss class 3 at the location that you started in. You would continue on with classes 4-13 in that location and then you would make up Class 3 when the next location had their Class 3.
Your transcripts are valid up to one year after your last class date. Therefore, if you need to stop the program but wish to start up again at a later date, you may do so where you left off as long as you do so within 1 year of your last class date. If you return to the program after that, you will need to start again from Class 1.
Yes! Most of our students opt to pay per class. The per class fee is $225/class. However, we do offer a discount for those wishing to pre-pay for the program up front. If you wish to pre-pay up front, we offer a $225 discount on the total tuition.
Any classes that you have completed cannot be refunded. However, if you chose to pre-pay for the program up front, you may request a refund of any remaining tuition (based on the regular per class fee + $50 processing fee) within 1 month of dropping the program.
The Board does not allow any prior learning credits towards the CCPA program. This is because the program is a licensure program and not part of a college degree program. The subject matter taught in the CCPA program is Chiropractic specific and follows the curriculum requirements of our sponsor, Sherman College of Chiropractic.
The only requirements set by the Board of Chiropractic Medicine are that students must be at least 18 years of age and live in the state of Florida in order to apply for the CCPA license. You do not need to be working for a Chiropractic office in order to attend the program. However, you will need to be working for a Florida licensed Chiropractor before you will be allowed to apply for your license. We do have a database of offices throughout Florida who are always looking for CCPA’s to hire to assist you in this area.
