About the course
As chiropractic health care continues to grow in both recognition and inclusion, professional training is a necessity for those assisting the Doctor of Chiropractic, the Chiropractic Assistant (CA). What will you learn
Students gain extensive and comprehensive clinical training to assist the doctor with patient exams, therapeutic modalities, patient intake and histories, patient education to enhance care and compliance, supervising other staff, and more. The program combines live, synchronous Zoom lessons with hands-on in-person training to provide an optimal educational experience. This program meets the requirements of the Florida State Legislature for the Certified Chiropractic Physician’s Assistant (CCPA) licensure. It is designed for individuals seeking to build a rewarding career in chiropractic assisting, as dedicated CCPAs are an invaluable asset to any practice.
How you will learn
Zoom – Synchronous Online Learning:
Most classes are live, synchronous Zoom sessions, allowing real-time interaction with instructors and peers. You’ll engage in discussions, complete workbooks, and apply course concepts through assignments. Regular testing will track your progress.
In-Person Learning: (See schedule below for in-person classes)
A few classes are held in person for hands-on experience and practical assessments. The required State Board Licensing Exam will also be in person, ensuring you’re prepared for licensure.
